Pool Installation
Full-Service Pool Installation
One of the best parts about choosing Seaside Solutions, Inc. as your fiberglass pool installer is that we’re a full-service pool installation company. This means that either our own team members or our partnered subcontractors will take care of installing plumbing and electrical connections as part of the swimming pool installation process. We even offer backyard design elements like fence installation, pool cabanas, and outdoor kitchens to complete your backyard makeover.
Inground Pool Installation Process
The inground pool installation begins after the initial pool construction process, which includes obtaining permits and conducting a pre-construction meeting. Once we have a finalized delivery date for the pool shell from the manufacturer, we will coordinate our install schedule accordingly.
- Preparing the Site: The site preparation stage includes staking and string lining the exact location of your pool. To ensure accuracy, we use a dig sheet that is specific to your pool’s design and shape. In addition, we incorporate laser leveling to determine the exact position of the pool while identifying and balancing any slopes or elevations to prevent drainage issues. Any existing landscaping and yard elements that need to be removed by our installation team ahead of setting the pool will also be removed at this time.
- Excavating: Once the site is prepped, the excavation process will begin. Our team will use advanced equipment to ensure precise digging and minimize any damage to your property.
- Delivery of the Pool Shell: With the site prepared and excavated, we transport the fiberglass pool shell to your backyard. Professionals offload your pool and carefully lower it into place.
- Pool Installation: Using specialized equipment and laser leveling technology, we position the fiberglass pool shell into the excavated area. One of the things we pride ourselves on is our precision. Once the pool is set into the excavated hole, our pool installers perform a thorough inspection to ensure an even and level foundation.
- Backfilling and Structural Reinforcement: To secure the pool shell, we carefully backfill the surrounding area with a mixture of sand and/or gravel depending on soil conditions, water table levels, and proximity to a water source for additional support and stability. Backfilling provides structural support and helps prevent any shifting or settling of the pool. Part of the backfilling process includes simultaneously filling your pool with water. Once backfilling is complete, we’ll also dispose of any dig spoils (excess soil and debris), leaving your backyard ready for the next step.
All of these above activities typically occur within one week. - Plumbing and Electrical Work: After the pool shell is in place, our skilled pool builders and sub-contractors handle the installation of all necessary plumbing and electrical components. This step also includes connecting the filtration system, pumps, and any additional heating or lighting features. Additionally, we arrange for any inspections, including electrical bonding and low voltage checks for lighting, if needed.
- Decking and Coping: Once the pool structure is secured, we move on to installing the decking around the pool. This can include materials like concrete, pavers, or natural stone, as well as wood or composite decking. During this stage, our pool builders also take care of any additional features like handrail brackets and deck jets.
- Hardscaping: At Seaside Solutions, Inc., we offer a wide range of hardscaping features through our partnership with ClifRock — one of the industry’s most reputable custom formed concrete structure companies. After the decking and coping are completed, our team begins to install any custom features requested. As an authorized, factory-trained installer, we can enhance your inground pool area with a waterfall, firepit, fencing, natural pool barrier, natural rock formation, pool cabana, outdoor kitchen, and more.
- Fence Installation: Although a fence is typically required as part of the fiberglass pool installation process, we believe that fences don’t have to be an eyesore. As part of our comprehensive pool installation services, we can design and install a beautiful and functional fence that will complement the overall aesthetic of your backyard.
- Pool Cleaning and Chemical Balancing: With the swimming pool installation complete, our team performs a thorough cleaning and adds any necessary chemicals.
- Final Inspections: Before you can start enjoying your new pool, we will ensure everything meets our high standards of quality and safety and request any final inspections required by your jurisdiction.
- Handover and Customer Education: Once the pool passes inspection, we provide you with detailed instructions on pool maintenance and care. Our pool schooling covers everything from basic pool operation to advanced maintenance techniques. This includes training on how to use and maintain the pool filtration system, operation workflows, cleaning and maintenance routines – as well as expert guidance on achieving proper chemical balance to ensure your pool remains in optimal condition.
Now your new fiberglass pool is ready for you and your family to enjoy!

How Much Does It Cost to Install a Pool?
The pool installation cost can vary significantly based on several factors. The size and shape of the pool can impact the overall cost: Larger or more complex designs will naturally require more resources and labor. Custom features like additional LED lighting, heat pumps, and automatic cleaning systems can add another layer of variability to the budget. Similarly, features like waterfalls, pavers, and elaborate hardscaping can enhance your pool’s appeal but also increase the overall expenditure. Our team makes sure to communicate any pool installation costs to you before the work is done.
How Long Does It Take to Install a Pool?
From excavation to the completion of final inspections, it generally takes 6 to 8 weeks for our team to install a new fiberglass pool.
It is important to remember that there are some factors that are beyond our control. Once we begin the building process, you can rest assured that our team will move along as quickly and efficiently as possible. Your dedicated project manager will keep you updated every step of the way.
Benefits of Fiberglass Pools
Deciding to install a pool is an exciting and potentially daunting task. With so many options available, it can be challenging to determine which type of pool best suits your lifestyle and budget. There are many benefits of fiberglass vs. vinyl or concrete/gunite pools:
- Faster Installation: The installation process of a fiberglass pool is faster compared to traditional concrete or vinyl pools. This is because fiberglass pools utilize prefab shells (complete with features like steps, seats and ledges) that have already been manufactured in the factory.
- More Durable: Fiberglass pools are incredibly durable and long-lasting. Unlike vinyl, the material is resistant to cracking, fading, and other damage caused by chemicals or weather elements.
- Less Maintenance: Fiberglass pools require less maintenance than concrete and other pool types because the non-porous surface prevents algae growth and reduces the need for chemical treatments. Unlike vinyl, the smooth finish of fiberglass is also resistant to staining — so you won’t have to worry about replacing the liner. Furthermore, it doesn’t require resurfacing like concrete pools do.
- Safer: Fiberglass pools have a smooth surface that is gentle on skin and does not require the use of harsh chemicals. Additionally, the material is safer for children and adults alike. Because it has a smooth finish, a fiberglass pool means fewer skinned knees and toes and less torn or snagged swimsuits.
- More Energy-Efficient: Fiberglass pools are designed to be highly energy-efficient compared to other types of pools. They have excellent heat retention properties, which helps to reduce utility costs — especially during colder months.
- More Convenient: Unlike concrete pools, fiberglass pools come in a variety of prefab shapes, sizes, and styles. This allows for greater convenience when it comes to planning your dream pool.
We install only the highest quality pools in the market. Our swimming pools are manufactured in the United States by Leisure Pools and Spas, Barrier Reef, and Tallman Pools –three of the most reputable fiberglass pool manufacturers in the industry.
